Data load from HR to BW

Hi ,

I am trying to do data loads from HR system (Time Management extractors 0HR_PT_1,2,3) to BW production systems, but i am in confusion whether do i need to take down time for the data loads or not required. Does any one have experience on this? Thanks in advance
